Coming from an ex-catholic, this is heartbreaking. This man is clearly unbelievablely lonely, and he is suffering. it's not something we should be glorifying. I wish this man all the best, and I really hope he finds some peace, but unfortunately I don't think he's going to find it within the Catholic church.

Dear one... He seems to be in need of comfort. I tend to not see why "normal Christians" wouldn't have the same intensity of this "You have to die" feeling. We don't need to save ourselves, the Kingdom of Heaven is already here. "For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ" - 2 Corinthians 1:5.

Makes me even cherish my spiritual father and Fr Basil even more.

That’s horrible stuff to put us through. first we are put this as a planet that doesn’t belong to us with horrible demons and devils. With the citizens of this planet they try to temp us getting man /woman to sin. If that’s not enough to put us through we must get punished for the sins that our weakness with the tempters got us to commit. whats the point of testing us that has a consequence of enternal hell if we are put in a lose lose situation
